Okay everyone today I want to talk a little bit about the evolution of airplanes. There are so many different types of planes flying our friendly skies today that it would take me weeks to research them enough to write credibly about them. I do know that I have a fascination with the old airplanes from years gone by. Going all the way back to the Wright Brothers learning how to fly. I don’t know about you but I remember when I was a young girl growing up in Northern Minnesota I used to dream about being able to fly one day. I’m not talking about flying in an airplane or helicopter or any other type of flying machine. I used to dream about flying like the birds. We have all seen eagles soaring high in the sky and that has always intrigued me to think what it would be like to slowly glide above everything on this earth. I know there are hang gliders that I could do that with but I am talking to naturally be able to fly without any fear what so ever. You see I would be deathly afraid of actually jumping off the top of a mountain or out of an airplane. Getting back to the different types of planes, I do have to say that I like to fly in the mega jets of today, the kind that can hold three or four hundred people are awesome. I am not really a fan of flying in those small airplanes; you know the kind I’m talking about, the ones with just a single engine. The only thing I don’t like about the commercial airlines is that they have seemed to make the seating so you have almost no legroom. I have pretty long legs and it gets really uncomfortable to sit like that for 3 or 4 hours at a time. But you can’t beat flying when you want to get someplace in a hurry that is providing you don’t have a bunch of delays and layovers. We I know I kind of rambled here a bit but I’m the kind of person that likes to write my random thoughts down. Who knows someone may even find them interesting. It looks like it is going to be kind of miserable weekend weather wise in the Duluth area so I think will probably just curl up with a good book and stay away from the holiday crowds. I hope you all have a great evening and will talk soon.
It looks like I have to take my Golden Retriever out for a walk as he has been staring at me for awhile now.
